Circles and Songs in the Garden

A women’s event will be held in one area of the garden with a health talk given by a women’s health educator and a song writing activity led by a facilitator who will also share some of her story related to mental health. In another area of the garden there will be a men’s event following the same framework and educators from Regional Men’s Health giving the talk and a male facilitator speaking about his experiences and leading the songwriting. Both groups will then come together for a shared lunch (cooking equipment will be provided by Rotary and the food prepared by participants of our Grounded Women Gardening Group) and a performance of the songs led by the facilitators with optional involvement from the group.

This is a public event open to the whole community.
