Be You Day and Week

This year ‘Be You’ Week will consist of a combination of events, visitors to the school and opportunities such as; a petting zoo, mindfulness sessions with students, Black Dog Institute guest speakers, visit from our local police, school psychology service personnel on-site, water activities and free dress for the day. We also will be focusing on sports activities throughout the day, as part of the 'Where we live. How we live. What we've lived.' - Mind, Body, Environment theme for 2022. While there are numerous activities occurring throughout the week, the week culminates in a full day of activities ('Be You Day') on the Friday, 14 October. Throughout the Friday, there will be lots of activities for students to access, which include face painting, board games, ‘minute to win it’ games, painting, sensory play-dough, gardening, Lego club, mind craft and sports on the oval. Classrooms will also be offering their own mental health and wellbeing activities such as mindfulness.
