Mental Health Week: Wickepin Community Connections Long Table Luncheon
Join us this Mental Health Week as we commit to raising awareness and fostering a deeper understanding of mental health within our community. We've organised a series of engaging free activities designed to create open, supportive spaces where we can learn and grow together.
Kick-off with a Long Table Outdoor Lunch Start the week by joining us for a special Long Table Outdoor Lunch. Enjoy a relaxed meal in the company of your neighbours while gaining valuable insights from our guest speaker, Jo Drayton, Suicide Prevention Coordinator from Holyoake. Jo will discuss how to recognise the signs of mental health struggles in ourselves and others, offering practical strategies to support loved ones, friends, and community members.
Pop-in Sessions at the CRC Throughout the week, drop by the Community Resource Centre (CRC) for our Pop-in Sessions. Enjoy a free coffee and a chat in a welcoming environment, perfect for informal conversations about mental health. We'll have resources on hand to help guide these important discussions.
Stay Connected Online Follow us on our social media platforms and check out the community notice boards for daily posts featuring mental health tips, personal stories, and resources. These posts aim to help everyone recognise the signs of struggle in others and encourage a community of care and support.
This is a public event open to the whole community.
