Bibra Lake Mindful Walk and Talk

Come join the Lifeworks Occupational Therapy Team at Bibra Lake Reserve for a walk around part of the beautiful lake. Take a moment to connect with the nature around you and admire the native plants as they come into bloom, and the animals as they enjoy the Spring sunshine.

✨ What to Expect ✨ 1️⃣ Nature Walk: We'll kick off the event with a peaceful walk around part of Bibra Lake. This is a flat, level access walk, we welcome you to come along no matter what level of fitness you are at. There are numerous benches and places to stop along the way. So come embrace the healing power of nature, breathe in the fresh air, and immerse yourself in the calming sounds of the outdoors. 2️⃣ Sensory Mindfulness Activity: After our walk, we will gather for a sensory-based mindfulness session. Tune into your senses and find serenity in the present moment. It is a fantastic way to reduce stress and boost your mental well-being. 3️⃣ Community Connection: Meet fellow locals, mental health advocates, and like-minded individuals. Share your experiences, stories, and support each other on this journey towards better mental health. Spread the word, invite your friends, and let's make this Mental Health Week memorable! Together, we can nurture our minds, strengthen our bodies, and connect with our environment for a happier, healthier life.

We will be meeting at the south carpark next to Bibra Lake Regional Playgroup. https://goo.gl/maps/PH38Mb6ivWVJs9Fy8
