Mad Hatter Tea Party
The Mad Hatter Tea Party is a free community event hosted by headspace Albany as part of WA Mental Health Week. Now in its 13th year, the event brings together local mental health services, community organisations, families and residents to celebrate mental wellbeing, reduce stigma and strengthen community connections.
Held in Albany Town Square, the event features interactive stalls delivered by local organisations, live entertainment, creative activities, a Best Hat Competition, free food and opportunities for community members to learn about the wide range of free and low-cost support services available in the Great Southern.
The event creates a welcoming, inclusive and family-friendly environment where conversations about mental health are normalised, community participation is encouraged and people of all ages can connect with services and each other in a fun and engaging way.
By making mental health visible, accessible and positive, the Mad Hatter Tea Party helps build a more connected and mentally healthy community while celebrating the importance of wellbeing for everyone.
This is a public event open to the whole community.
